About Our Chef... After a lifelong love affair with food, eating, and feeding others Chef Lucia finally decided to make her fantasy a reality and attend culinary school. She enrolled in the California School of Culinary Arts Le Cordon Bleu Program in Pasadena, California. Her education focused on classic French culinary traditions and techniques. She graduated at the top of her class and on the Dean's list with a Perfect Attendance Award. Chef Lucia worked in local restaurants and hotels before founding her private chef & catering company, Lucia And Company, in 2004. She is one of the featured chefs in Chefs' Specials of California: Signature Dishes and Favorite Recipes from Celebrated Chefs and Restaurants Cookbook. She was also recently featured in a national Diet Coke commercial with award winning chef Tom Colicchio of the hit TV show, Top Chef. Chef Lucia has also just finished her second cookbook.  Of the hours that can go into preparing one dish Chef Lucia says, "...the joy in cooking for me is really about cooking for someone else.
