Happy birthday to the stars and stripes! If you don’t know much about Flag Day, we celebrate the adoption of the American flag in 1777 every June 14th. Since the army was also created on that day in 1775, we can also say happy birthday to the army while we celebrate our iconic flag!

Go to a flag day parade
There are many parades and celebrations all over the country, and you can probably find one to attend in your area. If you live in Washingtin, you can attend the oldest continuing Flag Day parade in Fairfield, which began in 1910.
