Everyone’s favorite summer holiday is here! Set out your lawn chairs, grill up some burgers, and watch a dazzling fireworks show in red, white, and blue. The 4^th of July is a great opportunity for fun in the sun and celebrating what America is all about.

How should you celebrate? Here are some suggestions:

1. Fly the American flag! Hang one in your window to show your pride or wear the stars and stripes on festive clothing.
2. Have a barbecue with all-American foods. Make sure you have plenty of burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, and coleslaw to go around. Jazz up desserts with plenty of red, white, and blue!
3. Attend a parade. Cities all over the country host parades on the 4^th of July with floats, marching bands, and dancers.
