According to the American Humane Association, one out of three pets are lost at some point during their lifetime. An astonishing 10 million pups and cats are lost or stolen from their homes every year. Sadly, less than 23% of these lost fur babies are reunited with their original owners. This month is National Micro-Chipping Month, and we say celebrate by participating and spreading awareness. Are you a dog or cat owner? If so, are your pets micro-chipped? Be sure that your beloved companions can find their way home if they are ever lost. Encourage others to do the same for their pets as well.
