Not all of us have the nerve to tell the truth. With the holidays now over you have some time to look through the gifts your friends and loved ones gave you. Who hit the nail on the head and who won’t be making the Christmas card cut next year? Sometimes it’s hard to say you don’t like a gift you received and one question many seem to be asking -- is it ok to re-gift?

The answer is yes! But, there are some things to keep in mind.

If you’re not comfortable re-gifting know that about 50% of people (including your friends and family) are. That means there is a good chance that silverware you got from your cousin is, yep, re-gifted.

There are 2 big tricks to re-gifting. 1) Put some thought into it. You may not like a certain item, but you may know a friend who will and January is full of birthdays. 2) Don’t re-gift in the same circle. This really should go without saying, but we’ve seen some things…

The takeaway here? One man/woman’s trash is another man/woman’s slow cooker.
