The weather is finally turning, and the sun is coming out at long last. As the last storms of winter blow through the country, flowers and grass are starting to emerge, sweaters are starting to find their spot at the back of the closet, and we all find ourselves outdoors more and more often.

For many people, warm weather means it’s time to put away the hot coffee, and break out the iced teas, spritzers, and wines. But some of us don’t know how to say goodbye to coffee; thankfully, there’s no reason to.

When the sun’s out, nothing is better than a refreshing beverage, so we recommend making cold brewed coffee out of our Tahitian Vanilla Nut Medium Roast coffee blend. To make this incredible drink, simply add 1/3 cup of coarsely ground beans to 1 ½ cup of water, and let the mixture sit overnight, at room temperature. Strain it through a coffee press or strainer, add ice, and you’re ready for a glorious hot weather beverage.

Sunny days don’t mean you should sacrifice your favorite cold weather foods and drinks. You only need to adjust them a little bit.  Seems like a bit of a metaphor, doesn’t it?

Enjoy the sun!
