There’s condiment purists, and there’s everyone else. Those who care little for rules and recklessly throw caution to the wind as they slather their hot dog in ketchup.

Purists believe that grown people should NEVER put ketchup on their dog and cling tightly to the bottle of mustard.

Did you know there is a National Hot Dog & Sausage Council? That’s right, people care so much about this topic that they created a council to decide what was appropriate for Americans to put on their hot dog. They even published a paper and within their ‘rules’ they state “No ketchup on your hot dog after the age of 18”.

Who cares! We say have fun.

Ketchup, mustard, onions, pickles, cheese do whatever you want!  Be adventurous and try something new, life is too short to worry about what people think about your topping choices. Just make sure you have something nice and cold to wash it all down, like some ice cold Georgia Peach Iced Tea
