It’s that time of year again where you sit behind your desk, jealously scrolling through your friend’s vacation pictures on Instagram. The beaches look so nice and you can’t wait until it’s your turn to bury your toes in the sand, but what about your pets?

Though there seems to be two schools of thought here the most important thing to consider is your pet itself. Each one of our furry friends has a different personality and only you know what’s best for them. Here’s some things to consider first.

Are You Flying?

You might be excited to cross the country, but rover probably isn’t. It’s loud, it’s cramped, and they’re all by themselves, which may cause more stress and anxiety then it’s worth.

Behaviour Issues?

Not all animals are suited for travel. If your pet is temperamental around strangers it may not be a good idea to bring them.

Talk to Your Vet

Make sure your pets vaccines are up to date and that they are in good health. Some destinations may even require this.
