"Unless farmers develop more heat-tolerant corn varieties or gradually move corn production from the United States into Canada, frequent heat waves will cause sharp price spikes". A study, published in the journal Nature Climate Change, offers up some interesting points supporting this idea. Just one more reason for everyone to think more environmentally friendly and be more conscious of global warming.
