Since 1863, first in Southern California, we gather eagerly each year to nationally celebrate the food, fun, and festivities of Cinco De Mayo! Commemorating the Mexican Army’s valiant victory over France, May 5th is also known as Battle of Puebla Day. (If you spent years thinking of this day as Mexico’s Independence Day, we hate to be the bearers of bad news!) Today, we enjoy delicious Tex-Mex cuisine, exchange banter over top-shelf margaritas, and celebrate Mexican heritage as we pay our respects.
