The Importance of Word of Mouth
03 Jun, 21
The ever-so-fluffy, playfully vibrant, and delicately delicious macaron is easily one of France’s most prized possessions! Showcasing a yummy meringue base with satisfying buttercream filling, these little delights are simply to die for. Once humorously known as “priests’ bellybuttons,” with humble beginnings dating back to the 1500s, these delicacies originated in Venetian monasteries. Their goodness eventually made its way to France as Catherine de’ Medici introduced the dessert sandwiches from Italy. They became popular when the Macaron Sisters began selling them for survival during the French Revolution. (Quite the adventurous snack, right?)
As we celebrate National Chocolate Macaron Day, we use today’s story to stress the importance of word of mouth in the realm of business. Remember that a satisfied client will refer your services to others. This ensures the longevity of your brand and your business. Invest in your brand with client appreciation.
