daiquiri

Once upon a time in 1898, a few workers gathered during the Spanish-American War to blast away mines off the coast of Cuba. Jennings Cox, an American engineer, worked to oversee one of these operations in a town by the name of Daiquiri. They celebrated their accomplishments by meeting daily after work at the Venus Bar. Cox randomly decided to mix Bacardi, lime, and sugar. As he enjoyed it from a tall glass filled with ice, he named it Daiquiri after the town. The new yummy beverage quickly became popular in Havana, graduating to the version we know and love today as someone later added shaved ice to the recipe. As we celebrate National Daiquiri Day, ask yourself, what can you do to improve how you appreciate your clients? Are you connecting with your clients regularly, addressing their concerns and appreciating their contributions to your success? If not, consider starting by sending Le Petit Café Scone!
