I hear this question and many more all the time. When you are looking at your list and deciding who’s been naughty and who’s been nice, I always say, let’s keep it simple. No business gives gifts to every single client and to be clear, we don’t advocate that either. But every business being unique needs to have in mind, the value of the client currently, the lifetime value of the client and ultimately needs to know where they want to go. Knowing your numbers is always important and just as important in client appreciation marketing strategies.

 

So where do you start? You have hundreds, if not thousands of clients. Your list of people coming through the door keeps growing (congratulations!), so what do you do? You start with this: Who keeps your lights on? Those people, however many there are, that’s where you start. The answer to this question will also thin out your list, to start.
