Has a neighbor done something nice for you and you’d like to do something for them in return? Are you grateful for a coworker’s help or support? You can show your appreciation in these three great ways.

Return the Favor

If someone has lent you a hand, returning the favor will surely make them feel appreciated. Did a neighbor housesit while you were on vacation? Offer to housesit for them in return. And if someone has already expressed interest in your help, make sure you follow through.

Make a Donation

Do you want to say more than just thank you to someone? Has the person you are giving a gift to expressed that they don’t want anything? A donation to their favorite cause in their name will show your appreciation, and will also respect their interests.

Give the Gift of Food

Everyone loves food! One of the best ways to show gratitude for someone is to personally deliver their favorite beverages, desserts, or snacks. Whether it’s Snickerdoodle coffee or cheesecake brownies, an expression of gratitude that involves food or beverages is sure to please.
