It’s Thanksgiving this week. Presumably we’ll all be sitting around the table with friends and family, eating yummy food, and considering what we have to be grateful for.

Did you know that cultivating a mindset of gratitude year round is scientifically proven to impact your life in a positive way? Studies have shown that grateful people tend to be healthier, both physically and mentally, as well as have better relationships, both personally and professionally.

So this year, consider developing a gratitude practice for yourself. Maybe you could write down what you’re grateful for in a journal or simply set an alert on your phone to remind you to take a moment to think about what you’re grateful for each day.

Whatever you decide, don’t keep it to yourself! Tell the object of your gratitude. You might even consider sending them a thoughtful gift box to show them how much you appreciate them. Try it out and see the difference it makes in your life.
