Labor Day – a time for embracing the hard work and contributions of the everyday American people. Since 1882, we have paraded our streets proudly every September to celebrate our workers, strengthening the solidarity of the labor movement and improving our morale. (After all, resisting the urge to stay in your warm, comfy bed every morning after hitting that snooze button before work is a mighty feat deserving of a celebration all its own!)

A rich and creamy delicacy once anonymously referred to as the king of desserts, the magnificently satisfying Pots De Crème is hands down one of the greatest creations of the 17 th Century. This incredibly rich, golden goodie is a lightly set, baked custard, served in a small, lidded pot, with a title translating simply to “pot of cream.” Commonly created with a pallidly familiar vanilla flavor, the sinfully delicious Pots De Crème can also be paired with decadent chocolate, coffee, caramel, and pumpkin flavors as well. Fresh fruits are also sometimes meticulously placed on top of this delightfully tempting pudding to further wow our taste buds. Are we even worthy of the greatness that is Pots De Crème!? Celebrate your love for this unique, exquisite, golden-hued dessert by gifting our Three Feet From Gold Gift Box to one of your amazing, deserving clients today.

Staying Cool in the Summer Heat
11 Aug, 20
The dog days of summer are here. Did you ever wonder why they call them the dog days? The phrase originated with the ancient Romans and their reference to the star Sirius. Sirius was known as the “Dog Star" because it was the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major (Large Dog).
Celebrate this new little tidbit and refresh from the summer heat with our Iced Tea Gift Bundle. Or if you are in need of a little gift for someone before summer ends, consider sending it to them so they can enjoy these thirst quenchers at the beach, in the mountains, or lounging in their hammocks.
National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day
04 Aug, 20
Like many of the best innovations, the chocolate chip cookie was a lucky mistake. These delicious home-baked delights were invented in 1938 by American Chefs Ruth Graves Wakefield and Sue Brides at the Toll House Inn in Whitman, Massachusetts. The story goes that Chef Ruth was baking her classic Chocolate Butter Drop Do cookies when she ran out of baker’s chocolate. Busy in the kitchen, she had to find a replacement quickly, so she grabbed a block of Nestle’s semi-sweet chocolate and chopped it into small chunks. She expected the pieces to melt into the cookie, but instead, they held their shape and softened into a moist, gooey melt. Yum. Celebrate National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day August 4th and share that "just out of the oven" magic with your favorite people with our Chocolate Lover’s Gift Box featuring a Gourmet Cookie Gift Tower of Chocolate Chip Cookies.

July is National Culinary month and while most of us don’t have a fancy white toque, a professional set of cutting knives or, a five-star rating, we do appreciate the creative skills and culinary expertise of our favorite chefs.
Folklore says the first brownies were the result of a careless cook who forgot to put baking powder in her chocolate cake batter. We’re okay with that happy mishap because it resulted in one of our all-time favorite comfort foods, brownies, and we bring our unique culinary creativity to this nostalgic fudgy treat that smells as good as it tastes.
This delectable tower of chocolate yum is made from scratch with the finest cocoa, free range eggs and farm fresh butter. It’s the perfect way to show thanks to that very special someone.
